Our July 4th Parade

The Friends of Dubois Badlands makes their Parade debut in 2024. With Chris Hazeldine in the driver’s seat and Lillian McMath, Jennifer Hazeldine, and Tracy Hayes tossing candy and shooting water blasters from the flatbed, Friends of the Dubois Badlands joined one of the town’s longest-standing and most festive summer traditions—the annual Fourth of July parade. It was the first time FODB entered a float, with the only goals to raise awareness of FODB, celebrate the Fourth, and have fun. Mission accomplished! Special thanks to Jennifer, who ordered banners, sourced hay bales, and provided a huge tub of candy so top-flight even the grown-ups were stuffing their pockets.
