The Mason Draw Hike and the Zoom talk that preceded it were part of an educational presentation by Bruce Thompson. It was sponsored jointly by the National Bighorn Sheep Center and the Friends of Dubois Badlands. The popular Zoom talk gave about 30 people a glimpse of some of the fabulous scenery he has photographed and gave an understanding of some of the wildlife that lives there. The hike was a rare guided trek to some of the less-visited portions of the Dubois Badlands' Mason Draw. They explored the secrets of the rocks, plants and animal tracks and of life in this underappreciated landscape.
